The Construction Slope Should Be Flat

The flatness of slope surface is related to the success or failure of geocell grass protection. When laying geocell when the slope surface is uneven, it is easy to produce stress concentration, make the grid welding point cracking, and cause the grid across the step. Therefore, level the slope surface to the design requirements, and use manual slope repair, slope surface pumice, dangerous rocks, etc..

In addition, the slope surface should be leveled. Dispose of some debris that are not conducive to the laying of the lattice chamber, so that the slope surface is kept flat and solid. You can also sprinkle a layer of soil first to facilitate the growth of plants.

 

Laying of Geocell

Fully open the geocell assembly and nail a hook-shaped rivet stake into each cell at the top, requiring the length of the rivet stake to be two times the length of the cell itself plus 30cm.

After the geocell is opened and riveted tightly, the space of the cell is filled from top to bottom with soil suitable for planting turf or grass seed, and patted firmly, and planted with vegetation in time.

In addition, the geocell should be laid from top to bottom in the main force direction, so that the cell sheet is heavily perpendicular to the highway roadbed.

 

Laying of Drainage Ditch

The side slope of geocell should be equipped with main drainage ditch system. Keep a distance of 4m between two adjacent drainage ditches; and the drainage ditch should be connected with the highway side ditch, so that the road surface water flows into the drainage channel along the side ditch into the highway edge, in order to prevent the geocell slope from being washed away when the road surface water.

When the geocell is used in the slope under the highway, the drainage ditch should be connected with the shoulder ditch to facilitate the drainage of water on the road.

When the geocell is used on the slope of the highway, it should set up a water blocking ditch on the top line of the upper slope, so that the water at the upper slope can flow into the drainage ditch and avoid the water from washing the slope directly.
